Swiss cloud for communes and cantons, operated in Geneva, Gland and Lucerne

Hidora SA is based in Lancy, Av. des Morgines 12, 1213 Lancy, Geneva cantonal commercial register. The three Hikube datacenters are in Switzerland: Geneva (Stack Infrastructure GEN01), Gland (Stack Infrastructure GEN02, Vaud) and Lucerne (EWL Stollen). Engineer support runs from Geneva, in French and English. This is not a remote NOC, and not a Switzerland region of a foreign group. The three Hikube sites run on renewable electricity, per the published site sheets, not a house PUE. Geneva (Stack Infrastructure GEN01): 100% renewable hydropower; up to 4.4 MW of residual heat fed into CAD-ZIPLO. Gland (Stack Infrastructure GEN02): 100% renewable via SIG Vitale Bleue, Swiss hydropower, about 6.9 g CO₂-eq per kWh. Lucerne (EWL Stollen): 100% renewable hydropower, lake-water cooling and heat recovery for district heating. Hidora SA holds EcoEntreprise, the Swiss reference certification for sustainable development and corporate responsibility, and Responsibility Europe, an international CSR label readable outside Switzerland. Public buyers who ask for a CSR policy can rely on these operator labels. We do not publish an EcoVadis score, or a PUE. An engineer can attach a project energy file. Exclusively in Switzerland, on three datacenters: Geneva (Stack Infrastructure GEN01), Gland (Stack Infrastructure GEN02) and Lucerne (EWL Stollen). Nothing is replicated abroad. Backup as a Service and Vault as a Service stay in the tenant: a Swiss VM with a US bucket or US KMS breaks the residency file. Block volumes are network NVMe, always geo-redundant, with synchronous (real time) or asynchronous (improved performance) replication. The published frame is the nFADP (Switzerland’s revised Federal Act on Data Protection), nLPD in French. Hikube is not an HDS host and is not HDS-certified: that is not French healthcare-cloud positioning. For a Swiss commune, canton or office, the useful argument is exclusive Swiss residency, a Swiss operator and the DPA. Hikube does not certify your DPIA. Bodies that need HDS must go elsewhere. A commune or a cantonal department does not arrive with a data platform: it arrives with an online counter, a document management system, a GIS, a billing application, often inherited and often on virtual machines. The constraint is not performance, it is continuity over years and traceability of what was bought.

A public tender is judged on documents, and a missing one disqualifies an offer more reliably than a high price does. What follows is requested up front, not at submission.

• Data location, site by site, with the building certifications: the three datacenters
• The DPA and the subprocessor list, on request from an engineer
• The ISO 27001 attestation and its scope: the PDF is not online, it is requested, and the scope matters as much as the certificate
• Environmental criteria, if the CSR weighting includes any: site energy, heat recovery, operator labels, the three datacenters
• The exit plan: what can be recovered, in what form, and on what terms, the procedure is in the contract, the general terms

The contracting entity is Hidora SA, Av. des Morgines 12, 1213 Lancy. UID CHE-286.910.173, Geneva cantonal commercial register, VAT CHE-286.910.173 MWST, founded 2016. A DPA is available on request. The operator ISMS is ISO 27001, certified by SQS: that supports the file, it is not a substitute for your DPIA. The GTC and Hikube contract are governed by Swiss law; exclusive venue is Geneva, subject to remedies before the Federal Supreme Court. The estate runs on cloud instances (Linux or Windows), in a VPC with subnets. New work can go to managed Kubernetes (Certified Kubernetes Hosted, Talos, Hidora SA KCSP), workers spread automatically across the three DCs. Databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse) listen in the VPC. Backup as a Service and Vault stay in the tenant. This is not a PaaS that hides Kubernetes, and not managed vCenter. No. Many public bodies still run AD, files, Windows or Linux line-of-business on vSphere. The published path is lift-and-shift: VMDK, QCOW2 or ISO import, a 10 to 20 VM pilot, then the factory. The OS travels with the disk. Kubernetes is a second wave, workload by workload, not a cutover prerequisite. Windows Server re-licenses at 10 CHF/vCPU/month on the instances.
